Courthouse WEDDINGS
Judge Kimbrough Hayes performs weddings. This service is part of her role as a judge, and there is no fee for this service. The weddings take place at the A.A. Birch Building. There are some occasions when Judge Hayes performs weddings off site. For a courthouse wedding, the couple must provide an official marriage license from the county clerk’s office. Judge Hayes performs weddings for persons who live outside the Davidson County area, but the couple must have a marriage license. Guests are welcome to attend the ceremony. We ask that everyone please be on time. Suggested parking is next to the historic courthouse located on James Robertson Parkway. Please let Judge Hayes know of any special requests or traditions. Agian, there is no charge for this service, and please do not bring any gifts or form of compensation.
